Where EU funds help
To make sure EU funding is spent efficiently, it is important to monitor where it goes and what positive impacts it brings. In the statistics of drawing of the ESI funds, you can find how many projects are being implemented, and how much money has been paid to the beneficiaries. A full list of beneficiaries and projects is available in the List of Operations. Projects that have been implemented since 2007 are displayed in the Map of Projects. The Indicators page shows the results of ESI Funds intervention. To make sure EU funding is spent efficiently, it is important to monitor where it goes and what positive impacts it brings. European level
European level
At the European level, various institutions and organizations regularly issue reports and opinions on cohesion policy. The European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, which will adopt the new legislative package for the 2028+ programming period, play a key role in setting its future form.
A key milestone will be the negotiation and future shape of the multiannual financial framework, which will determine how much money in the European Union's budget will continue to be earmarked for cohesion policy. The European Commission is responsible for the final form of the legislative package, which establishes new rules for the future period.
The National MMR Coordination Authority initiated the development and adoption of a joint declaration of 11 member countries, which identifies the basic areas and direction of cohesion policy after 2027. Sufficient allocation, shared management, simple and at the same time flexible rules are just a few of the main principles that are emphasized in the declaration adopted within the framework of the Czech V4 presidency in 2024.
